Steve Wong is a High School Student and a Silverlight, WPF, WCF, C# developer who has a passion for emerging technologies. He is an active answerer in Silverlight Community. My name is Bilal Haidar. I am an MVP in ASP.NET since 2004. I am an author with over 40 published articles and a book on ASP.NET 3.5 Security, Membership and Role Management with C# and VB.NET.
I am new to Silverlight. I downloaded all videos on the www.silverlight.net, I browsed and still browsing so many blog posts and articles, got two books on Silverlight 2.0, I just want to master it.
If you can guide me more in learning silverlight and go forward with it, I would be thankful to you. Currently, I am preparing a series on articles on the Silverlight DataGrid, will publish them soon with www.aspnetpro.com.
Also, I want to ask about something, how to bind a ComboBox and then add an item as index 0 saying "Please Select ..." ? I tried to do so in many ways but seems im not getting it right. Can you help in this please?
